Trustee

I have been a trustee of CCA since January 2024.

I am an accountant (FCCA, retired) and have worked in the Charity sector for around 30 years. I have lived in the Reading area for about 20 years and worked for CCA in their Finance and Admin function for more than 10 years until 2016. I left CCA to train to be a Licensed Lay Minister (Lay Reader) gaining a DipHE in Mission and Ministry in 2019 and I now serve in the Anglican Benefice of Basildon, Ashampstead and Aldworth. I sing and lead worship playing the guitar. I also lead worship for CCA at their regular Prayer and Praise meetings for staff and volunteers.

I have been volunteering for CCA since I left their employment, helping run the Retail Gift Aid scheme.

I am also Chair of my local Churches Together group.

I am married with 2 grown up daughters who I enjoy visiting and being part of their lives. In my spare time (when I have some!) I enjoy walking, cycling and reading.
