Tom Smith

Being born and raised in Reading, Tom has been involved in CCA since as far back as 2013 when he volunteered on the van crew before heading off to university. Since then, he worked in business development in the private sector for 4 years before joining CCA back in 2022. As the Business Development and Fundraising Lead his primary objective is to continue to grow CCA’s relationships with businesses, individuals, and organisations. Working collaboratively with other charities and sharing resources is also a point of emphasis he focuses on. Tom enjoys the activities living so close to the Thames has to offer, from kayaking, fishing and swimming in the summer months when not at work he tries to stay as active as possible.
